Jesus Christ you are negative. You act like the season is on the line tonight. It's a bad start after about 20 mostly very good ones. Guaranteed Rondon Fan would be one of the dipshits booing Lester right now if he was at the game. The only pitcher I've ever booed at a game is Brian Schlitter.

Just curious, is this some sort of implication that the AL is so superior to the NL that even fringe playoff teams in the AL are better than NL contenders?

We needed Lester to come up big tonight and he didn't. Period. Yes, he's been great for awhile, but for a guy that's being hailed as our ace (although we all know it's Arrieta), this is a huge letdown.

Yep, it has nothing to do with 2 successful bunt hits and nearly a 3rd in the late innings last night. Fortunately, the wind is supposed to be howling out and I think our dongs will prevail. Boy, yeah, that tried and true tradition of easily maintaining what worked in one game; "we got a couple of bunt hits the game before, so let's just keep doing that!" Ranks right up there with, "hey, that guy should just keep hitting away from the shift" and "let's just hit some more home runs!" Couple it with Lester's inability to throw to bases and it's not so crazy.
