He's owned the Cubs throughout his career. I'm not surprised in the least that he's shutting us out. But his "Stuff" gets worse every year. You'd think eventually we'll hit him. Everyone else does.
exactly... the one thing i was truly excited about before the season was the "swagger" talk from lou... well...if this team is going to have a chance of doing what (on paper) they are capable of doing...then hopefully this fabled swagger comes bursting forth during this stretch...there is no better time to be a badass if you are the cubbies Well, this is a great test. It's a shame we wasted all that great starting pitching the first 6 weeks of the season.
I think it's pretty safe to say that if we lose this series you can pretty much expect a free fall for the rest of the trip. Phillies aren't a very good team, and it just gets tougher with the Mets and the W.Sox at home.
Didn't he hit a homer last night? That's true. But overall his approach is not looking good. . . RIGHT NOW. Not that that won't change. If you are always swinging for a HR eventually you are going to get one.
