    that's pretty unprofessional. especially since soto's improvement coincided with him dropping 25 lbs. Yea, most people don't lose bulk on 'roids.

    He apparently had to stop because of the pain, so I can't imagine that he'll be back this series. Oh man...This is not sounding good.

    We have to take the next 2 games. With D-Backs coming here this weekend - we could fall below .500 by Monday. Arrhh!

    Not really. We aren't getting any calls or any breaks. We aren't scoring many runs either, in most games. The offense looks good because we explode in some games, but then like yesterday, it's struggle struggle struggle. It's weird. I'm not sure if we can call it feast or famine, because the team is still getting on base at a decent clip. It's just not getting that key hit. So bizarre that we've loaded the bases in I think 18 straight games, but we are having trouble scoring runs. At least were getting on base. It's only a matter of time before we make another run.

    Given DeRo' #s against Harang, I'd let him start. Theres no good reason at all that Mike Fontenot should be playing over Ronny Cedeno. At all. I think everyone but Lou agrees with this statement.

    If he can stay healthy coming out of the pen for a year, I'd be willing to give it a go next year.

    I don't think so. Baseball is a team game unless the pitcher strikes out 27 guys and gives up no hits. If a player makes an error in the field (non pitcher) and the next guy comes up and hits a tater why should the pitcher bear the brunt? right, it's a team game, and the team lost because Dempster coughed up a 2 mile bomb to Dunn. but according to his ERA, he was totally awesome, so we get to win the game, right? The team lost because the defense, baserunning, and the offense let us down. Dempster wasn't bad last night.

    Who knows. It's still day to day and it was still sore. XRay's were negative, but I'm just waiting for the discovery of the hairline fracture that the first Xray didn't catch.

    I remember leaving work early, knowing that something special was happening. I hauled ass home and watched the game from the 5th inning on in complete awe!
