He'll miss two starts. At worst he'll have a season ending surgery, and then he'll be our new closer next year, while Wood moves back into the rotation.
Cubs have no reason to bash. They have the bigger fanbase, a beloved stadium, fans that worship them, they are in first place. I doubt they even know there is another baseball team that plays in Chicago.
Carlos is probably waking up right now as we speak. Possibly getting a little nookie before breakfast. At least that's what I got from the "sources" so far.
The Jon Lieber Reds game. Still, its not good for the momentum when you have another game at noon tommorow. Means nothing! didn't the the Phillys just blow out the Cards by 20 runs and then lost the next 2?
Can anyone remember the last time we've been blown out? It stings because it's been a while. The first two games could've gone either way and they didn't. It's not like we are playing the Royals. We just got beat by a good team. It happens!!!
Dude - seriously. Relax. Why? Things are looking much worse than they did not too long ago. I'm not saying we're going to fall apart and miss the playoffs or anything. But this no longer looks like a potential 100-win season. Even 100-win teams lose 3 straight. Relax...We'll be fine.
