    October 2005. You pretty much drilled it there. I hate to say it, but Chicago is full of bandwagoning fans. As is LA, San Francisco, New York, Atlanta and other major metropolitan areas with a lot of fans. Not going to disagree with that at all. It's amusing to see everyone in Big Cities always Flock to Winning Teams. Then, half of them have the balls to say they've been through the thick and thin. I just want to be like that's why you were wearing a Cubs hat last year? Or a Yankees hat? Or whatever hat that's hot right now?

    Crap! It's a game we should win. Plain and simple. According to some of you guys, we should go 162-0 in a season and if we don't, the world's going to end this year.

    They must have been recently released from the loony bin. There has to be something wrong with them. Since the day Chicago teenagers became bandwagoners.. I hate to say this but I've been around enough people from the burbs and Chicago that are bandwagoners.

    Hendry's extension? That's number one on the short list. Signing Baker? That's on there too. Nolasco and Mitre for Pierre? Nolasco, Pinto, and Mitre for Pierre. And Corey Patterson for Nate Spears. Since CPatt outperformed Pierre last year, the deal is looking awfully more and more lopsided. $136 million for Alfonso Soriano is far worse than any of these, except maybe the Hendry extension. Are you serious?

    Relax folks. Took 2 out of 3 against the Sox at home. At the very least, we're starting to win at home.

    Would you rather trot out the same bullpen or try to shore it up by putting someone who's been effective into the bullpen? You guys cry foul that we need help in the bullpen, and then he moves Guzman into the bullpen. You cry foul again. What do you want me to do? Keep trotting Eyre out there? Keep trotting them out there to watch them blow up lead after lead? Have to stop the bleeding somehow. Our starting pitching is fine with whoever takes over the 5th spot as long as it isn't Miller. Marshall should be fine/Marmol should be fine.
