This makes no sense. Clinch...but play like you haven't. Guh? I assuming the Cubs are thinkg they can simply "flip the switch" and be ready for the playoffs. I didn't mind the "Spring Training type" atmosphere the last several games, but against the Brewers and so close to the playoffs, I believe the intensity level should be at playoff level. I don't like this "we play casual because we already clinch early" attitude. Why isn't that plausible to you? They have nothing to play for, other than not wanting to see the Brewers celebrate a WC berth, so the intensity is obviously lacking some. When the get back to Chicago, in a playoff game, in front of 42k people, they'll be an entirely different team.
