    With our offense it probably won't matter. There are three guys in this lineup that are hitting worth a crap right now, and Lou's inexplicably benching one of them. Its Jake Peavy though. Even vs. the Brewers without Ramirez we put up some runs. I think we can get past Young and whatever other irrelevant pitcher they send out Thursday. Chad Gaudin.

    He looked bad there. All three of his swings were on outside pitches. That's fine if he's trying to go the other way like he usually does, but it doesn't seem that way. It's a total pull swing now. CCP was dead-on in his assessment about Theriot.

    Exactly. When Detroit had an reason to play, they made the Hawks look bad with ease. I'd be shocked and happy with taking it to six against Detroit. You called for the Hawks to lose this series. I'm not shocked that you'd be shocked if this series went six.

    I didn't miss it. The one "blowout" was before the WC. Everything else has been close IMO. I like how they closed out their season against them.

    but the wings are like the russian national team. they are a machine. makes for good theatre if we can take em deep, though. plus, they've had a good whoopin coming from the hawks for a long time. Hawks have played them tough all season. They need to play the full 60min against them and it'll be a great series.
