I'm hesitant because his OPS is heavily influenced by his OBP. I'd like to think we could get very good OBP numbers with mediocre power numbers from Murton. Murton probably won't produce as well as Giles this season, but I'm wavering on whether the price we'd have to pay to get Giles would make up for the disparity. I'd love to see Murton get his chance; we all know Lou won't let him see the field if he's called up. It'll be a steady diet of DeRosa/Hoffpauir in LF, Cedeno/Fontenot 2B.

Brian Giles. Wouldn't be a bad choice, but even on the road he's not hitting for much power. His BABIP is a tad high, which makes me think he'll have a bit of a slump in the near future. I'm back and forth on the idea. It could work. He's OPSing .951 away from Petco. .338 BABIP is a tad high, but I still think he'd OPS .850-880 in NLC
