    I didn't realize Dempster's career numbers against the Brewers were what they were or that he was 4-0 against them last season. Go get 'em, Demp.

    I saw parts of it on today's highlights and hardly even recognized the place. They've revamped that entire outfield area and added an actual outfield concourse to what was just fountains, the big scoreboard and some advertisements previously.

    Harden also gets some wicked movement on his changeup when he wants to, so much that it can act as a splitter or some other good breaking pitch at times. That, combined with his consistent release point and ability to dial up the fastball to the mid-90s, is a big part of what makes him effective.

    I like the way tonight shook out, honestly. If Marmol has to be used to put out a fire in the 7th/8th, fine, let Gregg try to close it out. If he's still available when the 9th rolls around, put him in and unleash the fury.

    I wish I could. MLB hasn't made a single archived game available, or available properly, so far this season. Games 1-3 aren't archived period and the ones that are archived have no play controls because of this terrible new player they instituted for Gameday Audio. As soon as they fix it (if they do at all) I'll fill in the back log, but until then, there's nothing I can do. Which sucks like hell.

    I'd like to see this be given a try a few more times. If Marmol has to come in and strike out a few to clean up someone's mess in the 7th or 8th, fine, let Gregg try (try) to close it out in the 9th. If Marmol hasn't been used yet, you unleash him in the 9th and let the slider fury rain down on the nonbelievers.
