  1. I didn't have the radio on; a goodun from Pat?
  2. From 3-0 to the swinging K. Why can't any of our pitchers do that?
  3. I never said that. You can go back and pick through my exact words if you like. I'm just saying the talk I hear from Brewer fans about their supposed history of success as compared to the Cubs brings some :-k.
  4. What the hell does this even mean? Just an observation. A few years of .500 and better and a lot of them sound like they're coming off multiple World Series titles.
  5. sucking? I don't know if I can comprehend a paradox like that.
  6. Losses are bad, losses that give a success-gone-to-their-head fanbase like that of the Brewers reason to be happy are worse.
  7. "Strained right foot." when did that happen? I don't think it did, to be honest; I think they just needed the roster spot for a bit.
  8. Some guy named Mike Rivera with an RBI double for Milwaukee.
  9. A leadoff single? I didn't know Soriano could do that to lead off a game.
  10. I feel like we're going to be saying this about the Cubs a lot today...
  11. Randy Wolf is the very opposite of good, so we really need a win today.
  12. I worry about the bullpen today, since Marmol, Gaudin and Marshall were all stretched out yesterday. That leaves any dirty work to Samardzija, Eyre, Cotts and Howry. I also predict that with Soto not starting, he'll come off the bench late and drive in a run that will ultimately ensure the Cubs lose by only a run again.
  13. There's definitely some irony in a guy like Fernando Tatis homering to tie a game against a team like the Cardinals. Scrub vs. Scrubs.
  14. There's no way we don't get shut out by VandenHurk and his 6.10 ERA.
