    Following him taking shots at the Sox he closed with Phil Nevin says hi! I'm not sure if it was an actual article or a blog entry or what. I had no clue what he was talking about. Someone at BTF pointed out that in his injury reports a few years back during spring training he gave Nevin a red light(high risk of injury). Nevin went on to get injured like a week later. Will Carroll is gloating about predicting that somebody has a high risk of getting injured 4 years ago. Well he could have said "Mark Prior says hi", that would have been a lot worse.

    Yeah, I think Nilo is taking a step down for the day as the KING OF THE VWR. Hopefully, someone can pick up a couple tickets for Nilo cuz he's helped plenty of people in the past. yup, seth and others had a good day. I got mine too, with the help of some friends i got games 1, 2, and 3. All crappy, but whatever. Now just root for the Rox!!!! (otherwise Ill be in vegas for 1 and 2)

    So, if the Rockies win, our home games would be 10/11, 10/12, 10/17, and 10/20 If the Phils win, our home games would be 10/14, 10/15, and 10/19 Crap, considering I'll be in Vegas from 10/14 in the AM until 10/17 in the AM, I'm rooting my head off for the Rox.

    No, we lost last night because our hitters couldn't hit Webb....no big surprise from me. I was hoping that somehow we could pull it out, but in my heart I knew the Cubs would look like little girls at the plate....and little girls they did look like. We had our chances, but we didn't capitalize. I would just like to note that this was the post that badnews is calling "tip your cap" No one said he was unhittable and we were damned, no one LOL'ed because you thought he didn't pitch that well, no one said Livan Herndez is nasty. Its pretty tough to argue with you when you are making stuff up. I think we can find common ground in the fact that Webb wore down as the game went on and the cubs did not capitalize on their opportunities.

    Ahh, so when what you've "noticed" is proven untrue with facts, you change the story. Again, there are shades of gray, pitchers can be good, or have filthy stuff and not throw a 1-hitter.

    I haven't said "tip your cap", maybe others have, I didn't see it. We could have won that game. Webb was wearing down a bit and losing some control towards the end. That doesnt mean that I don't think he was pitching quite well in totality. But even if I think hes pitching quite well, that doesnt excuse our hitters. No one here is taking it to the extreme that you are. We could have hit Webb better for sure, but that doesnt mean he had an off game. Your saying, when Webb is good he pitches a perfect game. Well, maybe your definition of good, is just a smidge different than everyone else.

    Opportunistic pile on? I have 7 posts in this thread. That LOL was not at your thoughts about Webb, it was at this ridiculous statement Reading comprehension is fundemental.
