  1. No kidding! Plus we get to hear Buck gush over it. Oh, Joy!!!
  2. I wasn't necessarily talking about what should happen, but rather what will happen-and there is almost no way that LSU is chosen over ND this year. This is one of many reasons why I despise the current system. It rewards teams that make the NCAA and the bowls the most money, not the teams that earn things on the field of play. I don't have that much of a problem with Notre Dame and I certainly disagree with some of the opinions they have a very weak schedule. But, LSU is more deserving of a BCS appearance this year because of their realtive wins. I do think an LSU/ND BCS match-up would be a lot of fun to watch though. I really hope this doesn't happen as I graduated from LSU and am a big Notre Dame fan. I had this happen back in '97 or '98 and hated the situation. Haha. That is a bad situation, but I would enjoy watching the game. :D The two compare very well. Actually, I don't think they compare very well at all. LSU's offensive strength is passing, a weak point for ND's D. ND's offensive strong point is passing, but LSU is equally strong against the pass and the run. From what I've seen of ND, I think LSU's D would wear them out (ND would likely have to pass all day and LSU's DB's are among the best in the nation. Jamarcus Russell along with LSU's receivers, IMO, would eat ND's DB up. ND might be able to contain LSU's running game, but the passing game would eventually open that up.

  4. LOL, what a bunch of dumb asses announcing the NO/ATL game. When talking about the Bears game today and referencing what DAL did on Thanksgiving, Moose Johnston said that the Bears need to answer the message sent by the Dallas Cowboys. Excuse me, but I think the Bears are in a much better position than Dallas.
  5. So I take it you didn't think much of Matt Leinart coming out of USC either, right? Touche'!
  6. USC isn't believed to be "great". They are a solid team that has the ability to play very well but definitely has some weaknesses. Although I agree with you, I don't trust the voters to do so.
  7. As much as it pains me to say this, I'd rather the voters see that ND isn't as good as it believed to be, than how "great" USC is believed to be.
  8. Well, I guess this means I have to pull for O$U in NCG. Either that or pray that UCLA can find a way to beat USC. Boy, I hate this situation.
  9. Neither one will really influence LSU-both of these teams are practically guaranteed BCS games already. The best thing for LSU would be if WV beats Rutgers next week, and Florida to beat Arkansas. If those happened, I think LSU would get in over WV and Rutgers. Thanks. I didn't think this game would influence LSU, but I wasn't sure.
  10. Personally, I want ND to win this game because I actually like ND and hate USC. That being said, for those who know right off hand, which team winning this game improves LSU's BCS chances? Forgive me for not attempting to decipher all the scenarios.
  11. I hate NBC, they cut away from the best part of GSU's halftime performance and will probably do the same to SU.
  12. Battle of the Bands about to get started. Woohoo!!! I'm really not trying to pimp the game, but I am thoroughly bored by most of the other games on. For anyone interested tune into NBC. Quite a sight to see.
  13. Isn't that always the way? The game is an afterthought. Same goes for either team vs. PB, though to a lesser extent. PB?
  14. I guess I'm the only one who is eagerly awaiting the start of the Soul Bowl, better known as the Bayou Classic. I don't really care who wins, but I always enjoy the halftime battle of the bands b/n Southern Univ. and Grambling State.
  15. Just a note: USC was not in the 2003 NC game. That was OU v. LSU.
  16. Ginn, Gonzales, Robiske Manningham, Arrington, Breaston They say hello. That doesn't mean LSU doesn't still have a top 5 or so recieving corp. Doucet, Bowe, Davis, LaFell say hello right back. I dont know much about them. Just givin you a hard time  That's cool!!!

  18. Are we at a track meet? Hell, yeah.
  19. I think I may have spoke too soon. Me too, but I'll stand by my team.
  20. Might be? I'd say they are, but I'm a little bias. With LSU's D, I feel pretty good, unless they start running that "Wildcat" crap or go to Mustain.
  21. Did I mention LSU has probably one of the top receiver corps in the nation?
  22. Way to go Laron!!!
  23. Well that drive sucked.
