    the most disapointing thing about this whole thread is the thought that Wuertz could possibly be relegated to Iowa again.

    I think at some point Hester has to break loose or at least find a few holes to give the Bears good field position. And Hester's still a wild card. I have no idea what the pressure of the Super Bowl is going to do to him. If he starts bobbling the ball it could be trouble. I'm pretty worried about that... I don't think pressure bothers him, 4/6 of his returns have been in prime time, obviously this is prime time x10. I think his drops are more lack of concentration. I think he at least breaks one for a big return like you. It would be great if he returned the opening kick off though :D

    ready for AZ, Bruce? I'm pretty jealous, not even about the being paid to watch baseball part, but the getting out of this weather part of it.

    Strange they would set up a parade for the losing team. :wink: Not really last I heard they were considering doing one win or lose.

    :lol: Prince had a press conference and he asked for questions, a reporter started to talk and he broke out into a song (he had a guitar and his band and backup singers) played two songs and left without answering any questions.

    Jeeze, Paige on ATH just said Peyton beat the Bears two years ago 41-10, and then asked what has changed... ummm tons. Urlacher didn't play that game I believe and there are a bunch of other new defensive players.

    Or he doesn't like getting unnecessary roughness penalties. The game has changed since Butkus' time in more ways than player size.

    I think that Benson not being good at pass coverage was started as a way to explain TJ getting more carries without saying that he's more veteran and wasn't a holdout and everything else that has impeded Benson, and after that wore of it stuck around because it's in the Joe Buck/Troy Aikman Bears game script. I swear both playoff games have the same non play calling talk near word for word. I think it may have been the Seahawks divisional playoff game when Grossman had all day to pass and hit Berrian for a huge bomb, Benson was the running back. And later when he had no time TJ was in there.

    how do you throw with or without confidence in a bullpen session in January? I'd imagine it be a rather laid back thing, and anybody looking on couldn't gauge anything from it unless Mark said "man i have no confidence"

Unless it had "Thug Life" printed on it or a place to hide a gun, i'm not sure I see the connection A Diamond Earring? pleeaaaase I'd say she pretty much just accused him of being black and black=thug, but she is a black woman so I don't know the proper way to call out that ridiculous statement.

    Pat is the perfect straight man to Santo. I can't imagine any other guy pulling off some of the stuff they talk about.

    Man. Throw out the idea of having the game being shown on giant projection screens at Soldier Field. NFL already nixed that, that because it would take away from the ratings.

    Please stay Lance! Imagine if Briggs, Brown and Tommie are all back and healthy next season. That and more experienced Rex = better than this year, and alot better IMO.

    Wilbon said that that Inez girl was the hit of media day and all players and male reporters wanted to get pictures with her. NBC 5 had Ryan Baker talking to her and she was beyond clueless.

    I know he did get talked to, I think it was on NBC 5, they showed him say that he had been in bed well before curfew all nights with a smile (some I'm guessing he got a question similar to yours), and then him saying that he would get absolutely no playing time and that's the way it should be.
