  3. and it begins :x
  4. as long as it gets Floyd out of the 2 spot
  5. Ask the Raptors. They had Red shirts for their first playoff game, and that's the color of the Nets jerseys.
  6. my post might have gotten lost at the bottom of the last page... There was nobody else to hit last night except for Marquis it was the 11th inning and all the position players were used up.
  7. I'm almost 100% positive there were absolutely no position players left.
  8. You saw this atrocity live? You poor soul. :x I stayed to the last brutal out too (p.s. was that even a legit strike to end the game?)
  9. Also, the Ramirez's home run went to the street, but a guy in my section realized it was his 200th so he went and offered the guy that got it from the street $50 for it and agreed. Guy threw the ball up, he dropped the 50 down. Then half an inning later some Cubs PR dude came and asked who got the ball because Aramis wants it. I never found out what he got for it, or if he even gave it up yet. But his buddies were trying to convince him to hold out for 10,000$+, or season tickets, and talking him up to hold out and stuff. I don't think they realized that 200th HR isn't that big of a deal (guy that had the ball did though, he just wanted some signed stuff and to get to give it to him personally), and I doubt the market for it is that high outside of Ramirez's sentimental value.
  10. Yeah Rocky was thrown out to the wolves against the 2-3-4 hitters of a major league roster in extras. Can't really fault him for giving up a home run to Prince Fielder.
  11. The best part about this game live, was watching Pie in the outfield and him hit his double. I'm sure it was visible on TV, but when he got to second he was clapping really hard and excited, poor guy needs to learn that now he's going to get stranded there 9 times out of 10.
  12. I got a bad feeling, Hill's got us all excited and when we get excited about something it usually slaps us back down to earth real quick like. Hoping for Hill to continue his dominance though. and GO BULLS
  13. 8th inning - Wuertz 9th inning - Dempster go with the hot hands Lou
  14. Let's just hurry up and get up 40 points on them and not let it affect the game :)
  15. i see his future being the same as Wade Miller's
  16. Seattle missed the memo
  17. If it makes any of you feel better Jabronie had tickets to this game but gave them away.
  18. well that sucks
  19. We should trade him to the Nippon Ham Fighters
  20. I'll be at this game, how about not sucking Big Z?
  21. rehabbing from a shoulder injury.
  22. yes they won twice in a row in Mil. z's only win and 1 of Hill's. (and it brought them over .500 at 3-2)
  23. Today was Pettitte's throw day, and the typical side session is about 50 pitches at 90-95% intensity. Pettitte only threw 14 pitches, so unless he threw a lot of warmup pitches, it was a smart way to use him. It's the second time Pettitte has been used in relief in between starts this year. In Colorado, Josh Fogg has been used the same way. Personally, I'm all for it. I know it's perfectly safe to pitch him today. But I don't think it's worth it to throw him out there against one of the best hitters in the game to try and beat the Red Sox in April, especially when you consider the injuries in their rotation.
