    Yes, 6 at home, then 6 on the road to close out the season. This looks like a brutal couple of days. Arroyo, Harrang and then that journeyman that beat the brewers in Milwaukee. While the Brewers face a bunch of nobodies.

    What's even greater is that it was a walk off, and it was Jim Thome bobble head day. Another fan of Jim here.

    actually the Cardinals got themselves out, Dempster had nothing to do with it. Dempster making good pitches sure did help the Cards get themselves out, though. my post had an implied /sarcasm tag

    It's nice that Hendry finally got the big time PH bat he's been looking for for a couple of years. Let's hope they don't go all Hollandsworth and think he's an everyday player for next year.

    To be honest looking at how the cubs have done historically, none of the other playoff teams look like teams I'd want the Cubs to face. But Let's get there and see. This team has the potential to slug and pitch with the best out there. It's just a matter of putting it all together.
