Don't feel like digging up the actual quote, but I saw on the Bulls twitter earlier today that Rose said he was very happy to have Kirk back, and it was the first guy he recruited ... it's a start I guess.

What a great PR move by the Marlins! Hey fans we lied to you about our commitment to be a real team, but here's an at bat for a guy you don't care about that is such a hot prospect he had trouble getting getting at bats for TEAM ISRAEL. Sadly there are meatheads that well be upset the Cubs didn't do it, ironically the same meatheads who would have thrown a fit when the player that was DFA'd for Greenberg has a hot streak for another team.

My teams have been mostly inept since 1998, and my host hated teams in the sports I care about have won championships all in the last two years. My team losing a game where terrible calls were flying both ways would be a giant shrug for me.
