    This has just put me over the edge on Backer, I'm just so tired of his crap. It is sad when the freakin' manager impedes the enjoyment of a game.

    that's 2 times in 3 days that baker has completly F$$%ED up. Why bat than pitch prior in the 8th inning. There is no point. This is getting ridiculous. There is no defending baker .

    At least there's a chance that there will actually be people on base when Murton comes up. Such a Dusty moment though, that we finally get what we want (Murton over Holla against a right hander) and he makes a lineup so ridiculous we can't celebrate it.

    Yeah I really doubt Jim would go on the air and say "I'm really working hard at something" or "Something is close" Because if nothing happens he looks like a dope.

    Let's just hope we stay no more than 3-4 back and are able to get hot at that time. I have feeling those last 4 days in Houston will be HUGE.

    Hmmm maybe Murton is getting about the same playing time that he would under a more rookie oriented manager such as Bobby Cox. Jeff Francoeur only has 5 more official at bats than Murton, with them debuting one day apart. But than again Cox has better option to swap him out with than Hollandsworth.

    Umm, ususally as a consensus the people here disagree with Hollandsworth and Neifi in th lineup, they were 0-for. Murton on the other hand was 1-2, the problem today was our big boys (Aram & Dlee) were shut down. Cedeno was shut down but I think he should have batted lower and Murton should have been in the 2 hole.

    Maybe he is learning sitting on the bench BUT as a fan of the CUBS first and foremost the fact that he is playing so much better than Hollandsworth I'd like to see the hot hand playing. At this point we can't settler for Holly's common 0-fer or maybe if we are lucky 1 hit. Holly started playing more again because he was "hot", I really don't think he can get much colder.

    Nice to see that Leicester didn't get pounded like he has been lately.

    White Sox games are meaningless right now, they are chasing no one, and no one is close to them. The story is they are pretty good and it's been told. Their games are being shown on ESPN (today, Sunday... their 2nd Sunday night game (at least) just as many as the Cubs). Another thing is they have no "stars", they have Buehrle & Garland and they are talked about as two of the best pitchers in the game. After that you have a bunch of relative no names, and sorry most are not interesting enough to try to sell.
