    Thats the problem.. He is a good starter because it takes an inning or so for his sinker to sink in. I think Mitre should be starting or he has no point being apart of this team.

    I was not present back then, but I'm pissed right now Cubs wanted to trade him.. Although it was for Steve Stone, and if Cubs didnt get him, (and him never being on this team) he would probably have never done his tremendous commentating in the booth.

    I was looking at Ron Santo's career stats. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/players/player.php?p=santoro01 His career lasted from 1960 to 1973 (15 years) On his last year, under teams, it said "White Sox".... Why?... Was he traded? Did he sign with them? Was there a reason Cubs didnt want him? Just something I've always wondered.
