  1. Dang, just missed. Now he won't get another chance.
  2. @ Santo saying the word "Scramble"
  3. All right, stringing up some singles! Come on T-Walk!
  4. Come on Cub Offense. Get some runs.
  5. nope, seems to be working just fine. :? Well that's troublesome.... It could be your connection, so you might want to check on that perhaps?
  6. Hill doing pretty good from what I'm hearing.
  7. FWIW, usually my Gameday is at least 1-2 pitches faster than MLB Radio, for the most part on my end. Not sure about MLB.TV. I might try that option next year if I do have high speed connection.
  8. It'll depend on how Hill will do tonight. If he does well, then I think Wood could go as a long reliever, and hopefully, they'll send down Mitre into AAA, or use him as trade bait. There are still alot of options left though. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  9. I don't see that happening. Williams have pretty much solidifed his position in the starting rotation, either poeple like it or not IMHO.
  10. Well now that we had that taken care of, I'd have to say Morgan and Miller than Hawk and DJ. Very very very close, but the edge goes to them.
  11. This is true. However, to the Cubs benefit, if they are playing well, and Hendry makes some moves, the Cubs play alot of the NL Central in September, especially Houston in the last weeks of September, to the first 2 days in October. So the Cubs will have their chances to knock them down in the standings if needed.
  12. I would have been, but I fly out of St. Louis at 7:30 AM, so I need to avoid the hang over. And let me just say, the game was awesome. A full roller coaster of emotions. I assumed it was over when Prior gave up three homers in the first. It wasn't a pleasant place to be, that's for sure. But he settled down and the Cubs clawed back in it. When Ramirez hit the Aramabomb, I was going insane. Then Dempster blew it with two outs in the ninth. Ugh. I was nervous and the Cardinal fans were going wild. When Barrett struck out, I assumed the game was over. I really didn't expect Neifi to do that... But the shock was greater, because from our seats, we really couldn't see the rightfield corner...so when he hit the ball, I was watching the firstbase ump....he first motioned fair...so I was like double in corner to take the lead...and then when he raised his hand and motioned homerun, I was dancing in the aisles. One word to describe that win [Chris Farley voice]Awesome.[/Chris Farley voice.] Haha, that must have been so awesome to be there. Have a safe flight back home.
  13. Man, Vance must be so getting hammered by now, especially with that.
  14. Hear hear! I'll drink to that! #24 power!
  15. What a crazy series that was. Wow... just wow. Unlikely heros was Blanco and Neifi? Unbelieveable.
  16. HAHAHA!! Thank you C.B. Bucknor!!! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!
