  1. Quit worrying about the runner. Get the batter plz.
  2. Come on Barrett, throw that a bit higher. Sheesh.
  3. The Royals might disagree with you.
  4. Another hard hit, and it hits right into somebody. Man... *shaking head*
  5. HBP. Wow, did that really hit him?
  6. That's what I'm saying. I mean 3 runs, yeah it's not good, but it's also not terrible. Getting only one hit, and no runs, that's terrible.
  7. FIERY ZAMBRANO!! Come on Offense! Wake the HELL up!
  8. He's struck out NINE!!!!!!! It's not about the strikeout. He's pitched poorly overall. I don't buy that this was a "quality start." He made some poor decisions on the mound and allowed himself to be beaten by their few good hitters (namely Cabrera). Well then maybe you should go and redefine QS. Because he's had one. I didn't say he didn't make mistakes, but he's got a few. Our offense needs to stop swinging at 1st pitches. No, you said he struck out 9 as if that was a sign of quality. My point was that he made key mistakes that led to runs scored. he's struck out 10 and given up 3 ER. Quality start whether you buy it or not. It doesn't matter what we call it, walking guys and giving up homeruns and doubles, right afterwards, isn't smart pitching. It's like he looses his concentration on the mound. Ok, 3 runs. Fine, I can say that 3 runs is somewhat inexcuseable. But the Cubs have no offense. If someone wants to blame this loss, it should directly go to the offense. Not Carlos, ineffectiveness in the first 3 innings. Holding your opponent to just 3 runs or less, it should have been a winnable game for the Cubs. Of course, it's the Cubs offense we're talking about, and it's the crappy left handed pitcher on the mound. You see it however you want, but I'm pointing out the fact that the Cubs offense isn't doing jack-squat to support Zambrano. Again, 3 runs. There's no reason why the Cubs can't get themselves 3 runs. The problem is they're just swining at first-pitches, striking out, etc.
  9. *shaking head in pity, as I look at my suckage meter* From 6:00p.m. today. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Funnies/suckage1.jpg to now. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/SwedeCarlson/Funnies/suckage2.jpg
  10. Fitting. Neifi breaks up the no-hit.
  11. Are you serious? Are you blind? That was ALL on neifi. Take your Cedeno blinders off please. IT's getting downright ridiculous. Len Kasper seemed to think it was Cedeno's throw that set up the lack of executed DP too. I'll have to respectfully disagree with Len on this one. Neifi was bobbling the ball a little bit, which distrupted the DP timing, IMHO.
  12. Good, it's uncalled for. How about calling out the offense? Getting no-hit/shutout'ed is deftinaly uncalled for.
  13. Sweet. Sent an complaint E-Mail to ESPN.
  14. Growing up hasn't been working out for him too well this season. He's been pretty damn good when he hasn't been told how to act. Agreed.
  15. Haha. Maybe that growing up that he did is really affecting his mindset. I want the PO'ed Carlos Zambrano back. I ain't want that sissy Zambrano that we have been seeing today. I want the old fired-up Zambrano back.
  16. Woah! Carlos broke the bat!
