  1. While this season if probably over it would be nice to beat the fish and help keep them out of the playoffs.
  2. No were are still 6.5 games back if HOU and PHI lose.
  3. That was too close. Flyout to the track.
  4. Hasn't he bruoght it every time he's come out out of the pen? .040 OBA 0.00 ERA Yes he has! This is the first time I have gotten to listen a game since Kerry came back.
  5. On a good note, Kerry sounds like he is bringin it tonight.
  6. Blanco flied out to left and Patterson got doubled off at first
  7. Always finding new ways to look bad. What was that! This team is really hard to watch/listen to.
  8. That a way Corey. Way to put pressure on the defense!
  9. Well at least were not going to get no hit
  10. sportsline has him at 29 at the end of 1
  11. I know this game is not over yet but this is a little dissapointing. It seems as if the Cubs on ESPN are turning into the Bears on Monday Night Football.
  12. I don't know if anyone is paying attention to the Dodgers/Giants game but Brad Penny got tossed for throwing his helmet after arguing a call at first. I think the last few seasons the umpire situation is getting out of hand. I mean the guy tossed his helmet so fine him but don't toss him in the second inning. Something needs to be done about the "aggressive" umpires. I see quite a few umps following players to the dugout when they argue a call. Isn't an umpire supposed to enfore the rules not instigate things? It seems that the umpires almost have thier own agenda.
  13. The Cubs made the commitment when they gave Maddux the contract. They knew he would probably get the required innings needed for the option. I don't think it would be wise for them to try and back out of the deal by purposely decreasing his innings. They are going to have to accept the consequences.
