For whoever’s dumb like me and scoreboard watching, Mets start a 3 game series against Boston tonight and Atlanta starts 3 games against Colorado tomorrow. ATL’s next three series are against Rockies/Toronto/Nats, so that’s unfortunate.

Doesn’t look like we’re gonna gain ground in the wild card tonight. Braves already won and the Mets are unfortunately playing the white Sox this weekend.

I was there! That was one of the greatest moments of my entire life. Sosa and Wood are personally my favorite Cubs because they're the reasons I started watching sports in the first place, but A-Ram is a very close third.

Cubs are the only last place team in baseball with a positive run diff. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are only 3 games back in the WC at -47. That’s not annoying at all.

These are trash. Very disappointing. I knew a sleeve ad was inevitable (for whatever reason) but I wasn't expecting the ad to be larger than the surface of the sun. In the end, we all know the Cubs will still look at the lux tax as a hard cap and this wont actually benefit the team, just Tom and the kids.

That is a fun little benefit. It also means no more Miles Mastrobuoni in the daily lineup. This trade upgrades the team immediately in more ways than one for sure.

I don't know why I was under the impression Paredes becomes a FA after next year... Turns out he's cost controlled until 2028, and because of that, I think this trade was a huge steal for the Cubs considering 3B is such a hard position to lock down right now.

With the reintroduction of baby-blue alternate uniforms in recent years, I really wish the Cubs would bring back theirs from the late 70's.
