I just got back home the other day, but spent the first 3-4 weeks of the season in EST for work and I have no clue how you guys do it. Even the NCAA national championship game started at like 9

Didn’t get to watch the game but see the bullpen went 5 IP, 1BB, 1H. Outside of Pearson and Morgan, who are gone, looks like the pen might be settling in. Also, hurray for this being the last late west coast game until August!

I’m thinking they see something in particular they want to adjust in his hitting approach. Otherwise, I don’t get why you don’t just leave him in MLB to figure it out in time like they did with him in AAA last year

He started cold at AAA last year and was able to figure it out. With how good the rest of the team is playing now, I don’t really see why they couldn’t give him a longer leash like they did with PCA (and Amaya to an extent) last year. Oh well, he’ll be back.

I mean, this team is about to be 8-5, in first place with one of the best run differentials in MLB… with a sub-luxury tax payroll ($20 million). What more can you expect?
