  1. That would be awesome. A summer Saturday without the cubs feels like a loss
  2. Born and raised in Hammond but moved a few blocks south to Munster about twenty years ago.
  3. Is it going to rain there? I'm in Northwest Indiana and it's raining hard and is supposed to all day into tomorrow.
  4. So much for 7pm start. I get up at 3:30 so I'm out. I'll watch a condensed version on YouTube
  5. Starts at 7pm? 7:19 first pitch. I guess that it's bed time. As annoying Chris Berman was, he was more entertaining than these guys
  6. I don't understand why people like to show that they own items of clothing when they realize that the camera is on them.
  7. Five days? What will we do til then? https://youtu.be/nylufnKAoMA?si=6cbZmf8a6-hjw_Co
  8. Do they keep all three catchers on the roster when Amaya comes back? A third catcher is, at least, as useful as Berti and Brujan.
  9. Stupid ballpark with small dimensions except for when the Cubs are hitting.
  10. He did but Happy not tagging up on the previous play was a problem.
  11. Are they playing Berti and Brujan to prove to the front office that they need to be replaced?
  12. It's a good thing that Shaw wasn't playing all game. The extra offense of Berti made all the difference.
  13. Some day, the cubs will learn about preventing the runners from advancing instead of throwing home. Doesn't matter now 😕
  14. I was only six years old but the Bill Madlock trade was my first taste of what it is to be a Cubs' fan. My Cardinal's fan father rubbed that in for years. They traded Madlock and Rob Sperring (I don't remember him) to the Giants for Bobby Murcer, Steve Ontiveros, and minor league pitcher Andy Muhlstock."
  15. Somebody needs to explain to Armstrong about preventing the runner from getting into scoring position.
