  1. Nice tackle Briggs! Extension now plz.
  2. Wow, I didn't realize the Bucs have never had a kick return touchdown...wow. I also love Hester pumping the crowd up.
  3. A better question would be: Are Sammy's "indiscretions" enough to ignore what he brought to Chicago, the Cubs, and the game of baseball? Again, I have my problems with Sammy, but I also have alot of GREAT memories. I have more great memories of Sammy then I do bad memories. He's a HOF and he's a Cub. The Cub organization should cherish that relationship, not tarnish it. I know it was bad in the end between them, but it should be a relationship that is repaired. First off, I don't believe the Cubs tarnished the relationship. Sammy did. Second of all what did Sammy bring to Chicago? Yes, it was fun to watch him hit all those HR's. Although a ton of them were either solo's or when the game was as much as over. These aren't just my statements on this board but several others here. What else did he accomplish? A couple of playoff apprearances and ALOT of losing seasons? Yes, he wasn't to blame for those losing seasons. But he also wasn't a difference maker to stop those losing seasons. Walked out on the team because he wasn't happy? Articles I've been reading over the last few months are putting Big Macs chances as a HOF'er. Where does Sammy fall into a situation where he's an automatic for the hall? Hey, I'm not looking to upset anyone. I was as big a fan of his as anyone. But when it came down to it he wasn't able to seal the deal when it was needed the most. IF he gets into the hall for some reason then I believe the Cubs will retire his number as they have all the others. Everyone one have a Merry Christmas This post is complete blasphemy. If hitting "home runs that usually didn't matter" is the basis of your opinion on Sosa, then you could say the same thing about Banks, Sandberg, and Williams. They weren't difference makers to stop losing seasons either. Sosa revived the city after MJ retired and the Bulls started sucking again. He deserves to have his number flying above Wrigley and until it officially is, it deserves to be unofficially retired.
  4. Unless he goes to prison for a long time, there will be plenty of teams who would pick him up in a heart beat so no his football career isint probably over Maybe teams will give him a chance, but he doesn't seem to want to change his gangster ways.
  5. I didn't have much problem with the gun charges, but the whole thing that happened at the night club tells me that we need to stay far far away from this guy.
  6. Man, I liked Tank too, I think he had real potential to be a very good DT in this league. Oh well, enjoy your gangsta lifestyle Tank, your football career is probably over.
  7. Yep...posted that a page or two back... Well look at that...I looked for it too, haha... I blame it on my brain being discombobulated from all the studying I did this week...yeah, that's it. Carry on.
  8. Tank won't play this week, but it's "not a suspension." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2698648
  9. Wheaton is NAIA, no? From the looks of their website, they're DIII. On another note, the Braggin' Rights game is Tuesday. I can't wait. Maybe we can win for the first time in a thousand years. Maybe you can't!! Ohhhhhhhhh Go away ;)
  10. Wheaton is NAIA, no? D-III
  11. http://tirmilitaire.ifrance.com/dossier%20ar15/PICT1226.JPG Uhhhhhhh....
  12. We are so screwed for the playoffs. Then we'll have to deal with people saying that we "choked" again even though 27% of our starting defensive was out.
  13. FWIW, I love the nickname "Windy City Flyer"
  14. [joke] Don't get Devin Hester anything for Christmas this year. He'll just return it. [/joke]
  15. After Shoop, I never thought I'd see the day again where Bears fans were excited about screen passes.
  16. because we have. Bears by a million. Hester scores all the points.
  17. I'd love to hear the radio guys' highlights of this game. (psst, Jon ;))
