i dont have any idea what it's going to be about, but i feel like its probably mizzou reaffirming their commitment to the big 12, and maybe a dan beebe resignation.

I'd like to think it's about us getting the f out, but I'm sure it's nothing interesting. "We are proud members of the Big 12." "Rex is our quarterback." etc etc

That contradicts reports that say the SEC don't want to "double-dip" in terms of picking up a school from a state where they already have a conference member. Not doubting you, just mentioning what has been widely reported. And obviously, all reports re: realignment are correct.

That list is absurd. Missouri blows Texas Tech out of the water, academically. As does KU. I have literally never heard of New College of Florida. Wikipedia has informed me that they don't give letter grades. Okay, look. I know you got a crocodile in spelling, but this has gone too far.

Just saw this on the ESPN bottom line. Right after it said that the SEC denies that it extended an offer. yeah, for every report there's going to be a denial. who knows whats true and what isnt these days.

Like they did in the Big 12. Seriously though, for all the crap KU fans give Mizzou fans around here, this makes me smile. Who got invited to the big boy conference? i was being 100% serious when i said it. and kansas will probably somehow end up in the big ten and we'll join the SWAC.

Birmingham News reporting that Mizzou and SEC have "informal agreement" barring unforeseen changes, with Auburn going to SEC East.

It'd be great if OU and Texas hang out and things settle a bit. But that's probably not enough to keep Missouri happy if the bigx or sec come calling. I feel like a declaration that big/dramatic/preposterous by Oklahoma kind of tips their hand towards the Pac-12. They've got to be gone at this point. Why would they say that if they were already gone? What's the purpose of a noisy exit? It's going to be a noisy exit anyways. They know the Big 12 isn't going to fire Dan Beebe because they asked them to. They're throwing out ridiculous demands just because. Even if they did fire Dan Beebe I don't know that it would matter now.

Big Ten would be my first choice but I don't know how realistic it is right now. If SEC comes at us with an offer now, I would hope we'd take it instead of waiting around for a Big Ten offer that might not come.

I don't know much about Missouri, and I'm pretty clueless about this whole realignment stuff, but I think I'd try not to get too excited until someone other than a Missouri fan-site reports it. Of course. I know the PowerMizzou writer quite well though, and he's not one to report anything from sources he doesn't trust. That's not to say all this [expletive] won't change in the next hour, but still.
