Be careful.... you know how fast that lineup can change  Well, I'll settle for Kerry or Carlos! But if fat Glendon ends up starting, I might have to go to the game with a bag over my head. Actually, my worst nightmare will be Rusch pitching, and Neifi and Hairston playing middle infield. Neifi will go 0-4 with 4 weak pop ups, and Hairston will go 0-4 and slide headfirst into 1st base on each play.... You never know about these things. I drew Rusch for 3 games at Wrigley last year, and the CUBS won them all. Besides, there is a chance that Prior is back by then, and Rusch is out of the rotation all together.

It's kind of a touchy subject for me because I think Hendry will let him walk at the end of the year no matter how good he pitches. And when he does you just know Wood will turn the corner to greatness. Take your solace from the fact that Ernie Broglio has a higher career batting with the CUBS than Lou Brock did.

Oh gods no, this lineup is terrible. Starting with the top. There is no reason why Walker shouldn't be leading off or in the 2 hole, along with Murton somewhere up there. Pierre and Womack need to be way down on the order. (Preferably off it completely, but we wont see that) I'd much rather see Womack in there than Neifi. Sounds crazy but I would like to see a lineup like this for a week and see how it goes: Murton Womack Walker Aram Jones Barrett Cedeno Pierre Pitcher Pierre could bunt Cedeno over so the pitcher can knock him in. I totally get it that you want to move Pierre down in the order because he hasn't been hitting. I don't see why you want take Ramirez, who hasn't been hitting well either, and move him up, while you take Barrett, who has been hitting well, and move him down. 05/23 - 05/29 AB R H 2B 3B HR TB RBI BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS Barrett 25 6 8 1 1 1 14 4 0 3 0.320 0.333 0.560 0.893 Ramirez 25 2 6 2 1 0 10 4 0 3 0.240 0.269 0.400 0.669 -
