It's amazing how few leads the bullpen has actually cost the team. CUBS starters..... 3.84 ERA CUBS relievers.... 3.34 ERA -
Parra gave up a rocket, got a borderline K call, and gave up a warning track shot. Now, I'm not aware of how much wear these guys have had lately, but we should have gone Grimm for two, then Strop/Rendon to close it out. Why are we trotting Russell and Wood out in a close game? Our bullpen has pitched 11 innings in the last 2 games. i imagine they're pretty gassed.
