  1. Plus they're good teams. Yes, but as poorly as the Cubs have traditionally played in those two locations, I fear losing 5 of 6 is not out of the realm of possibility. You realize that the upcoming Marlins series is in Wrigley Field ?
  2. CUBS are 6-1 in games when Marmol pitches. Go CUBS !!

  4. CUBS are 53-3 when they score 7 runs or more. Go CUBS !! edit: plus 4-0 this year.
  5. ....or.... you could respond that the month doesn't matter........ April 10-6 May 1-2 June 2-1 July 10-3 August 8-8 September 12-6 ----- 43-26 ....or.... you might just say that CUBS beat Cardinals any day of the week...... Sunday 8-5 Monday 2-2 Tuesday 3-3 Wednesday 5-0 Thursday 3-5 Friday 11-7 Saturday 11-4 ----- 43-26 .... and if none of that cold hard fact stuff does any good...... then simply sink to their level..... http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b137/Hornkohl/cubs-slug-cards.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b137/Hornkohl/CUBS021.jpg Did I mention that I really, really hate the Cardinals ??

  8. He had one decent start against the Cubs in 07, but overall no. He has an ERA over 7 against the team since he's been in the league. However, the Cubs on the team now haven't had much success against him. They haven't faced him all that much, but they're a combined 6 for 29 against him with a combined .644 OPS. The only extra base hit against him by a member of the current Cubs was an Aaron Miles home run. He had a pretty good start last year against Marquis... 12. Yep, and we lost like 6-2. I remember a fake rally at the end. You're quite right. It was 5-1 (Buehrle over Marshall) on 29 Jun 08. Don't know how that got by me.

  14. Calm down, Truffle hey i can type the f-word now that it's filtered out to expletive. You can exhibit all manner anti-social behaviour, but understand, there will be consequences.
  15. Did I mention that I really, really hate the Cardinals ??
  16. Vance, I realize that the intricacies of the time distance continuum make your little head hurt, but just think of it as another way stop on the long road home, eh?
  17. Your town.... absolutely not !! The P & G plant.... well, maybe, Haha. I used to live less than a mile from there. My father-in-law has worked there since he was 18. He hates it as well. The plant itself really isn't all that bad. What I hate with a passion is the CHEP pallet depot across the highway !!
  18. Your town.... absolutely not !! The P & G plant.... well, maybe,
  19. Fred, I didn't know you were from Sikeston. I'm from Jackson. Well.... I'm not FROM Sikeston..... I'm IN Sikeston. temporarily. (Actually, I'm in Matthews, but why quibble ?) Ah.... the stories I could tell, and the fun I've had in Jackson, MO !!!
  20. Greetings one and all from beautiful Sikeston, MO !!! For you XM listeners..... the game is on 184 not 183 as I originally posted. Sorry 'bout that.
