I'm not a huge fan of Pat but I love that this sort of thing upsets people. It's not like it's Coomer blabbing incoherently for a couple minutes. Pat's going to react to a great play and describe that great play accurately. It's not difficult to follow along, assuming you know how to interpret human expressions of emotion. Yeah, I'm not blaming him for doing it that way. I just can't handle it as a listener. My fault, not his. Could just have Pat take the day off and have Ron do PBP the whole game.

Billy's going to always try and do business with whoever gives him the best return. And judging by our FO's track record, that probably won't be us. Especially if we intend to use him as a reliever, while other suitors are going to be in the hunt for starting pitching. And Hill's looking to be one of the best options on the market, at least in terms of rentals. Shields, Fister, and maybe Cashner are the only other options I can think of off the top of my head. I'd just as soon pony up for Teheran or Fernadez and let the White Sox, Dodgers, and Rangers duke it out for the rentals. I would rather they overpay for Andrew Miller (If the Yankees are selling) if they are dead set on a lefty reliever and just give Adam Warren some starts. Injuries are really screwing over Oakland's trade values. Reddick is likely to end up somewhere else and I didn't realize Chris Coghlan was sucking so bad this year.

Correct. This is the most difficult month of the season schedule-wise, 18 games against playoff contenders. The Cubs are 10-4 in those games. Despite losing 8 of 12 they're still playing at a 109 win pace overall. The pitching has continued to be solid. Things are more than fine. I think it's fine to express frustration so long as perspective is maintained. Being a well-adjusted person doesn't mean having no emotions whatsoever. People differ in their levels of expression, is all.

Yea I would hold off. If he is desperate for a SS maybe consider counter-offering Kang for Harvey. You would most likely be benching Harvey anyway to see if he can correct his problems soon.

Wheeler is suppose to come back early July and Logan Verrett has been an okay spot starter. I can't see the Mets giving up anything to acquire pitching.
