Russell and La Stella seem like his #9 guys. When they aren't in the pitcher will bat ninth. When Ross is in for Lester I think he bats Ross 8th so he's not 7th which moves Russell out of the 9th spot into 7th or 6th.

Just saw the replay. Marte started towards second and Lester stepped off. He hesitated and Lester started him moving backwards and threw to Rizzo, who then started a two throw rundown(Rizzo to Russell, Russell to Rizzo, tag). Sweet! Bust a couple people and it gets easier!
