Rooting for the Padres and the Giants. Padres can max at 84. Giants at 85. But they play each other next week. A 2-1 series goes to SD. Would mean they max at 83. If everyone bombs it’d be nice to have our wins over them including in the tiebreakers if it’s a 3, 4, or 5 team tie. Super Long shot but you never know!!

David Ross was right about the pirates. Gave up 2 runs because they couldn’t turn an easy double play. Then gave up a 2 out 2 run homer in the 6th.

Soriano said it changed his season when Lou got tossed in 07. Obviously you can’t go off whenever, but that’s a critical couple of misses when the pirates had big innings after some missed calls the last couple days. So clearly you’re in the camp that a player or coach should never argue since it won’t change anything.
