it's a terrible matchup for the eagles, jason peters is as mobile as a filing cabinet, which is bad against ware, sean mcdermott is a worse defensive coordinator than dead jim johnson, and the eagles fattened up against bad team. the only good teams the eagles played this year they lost to; they lost at home to dallas and got blown out at home by the saints and on the road versus the cowboys. they're an average team who won lots of games against average and bad teams but don't have the talent or the coaching to beat good teams. pretty easy call. And they lost to the Raiders. Come to think of it, that's what should have convinced me to pick the Jets rather than the Bengals - Cincinnati lost to the Raiders also. I think basing picks on who lost to the Raiders is a bad idea. The Raiders a) weren't terrible and B) played much better against non-terrible teams.
