  1. This team is terrible, yet I'll keep watching this [expletive] thinking they can somehow manage to win the division/wild card
  2. Tracy pinch-hit for Hill. Not Soto. It may be up there with the dumbest managing I've ever seen in my life. I guess it was just such an idiotic move, I still can't understand what he's doing
  3. What the [expletive]? Now Soto is in? Go [expletive] yourself, Lou
  4. Quality at-bat there for Theriot after Nady drew 4 straight balls :banghead:
  5. Just cut Tracy already, he's completely worthless
  6. What's the cut off? 3 years? 4? Zambrano is a good pitcher, I'm gonna go ahead and consider him reliable Edit: Meant for Carless' reply to me
  7. Why? He hasn't worked a whole ton recently and we're in the middle of a 19-game stretch w/out an off day. Plus Lilly is coming back w/ a pitch count tomorrow. Marmol looks to be on tonight, I have no doubt he can mow through the bottom of this order fairly quickly. No reason to waste another pitcher that we may need tomorrow. I'd say that's all the reason not to pitch our best and only reliable (I guess Zambrano counts now) relief pitcher with a 7 run lead in the 9th
  8. Now no need for Marmol in the 9th, hopefully he doesn't come back out
  9. Yeah, Im not sure about his use here either. But, whatever. When's the last time he pitched? Wednesday when he pitched in a blowout It kinda makes sense to use him right now with Lilly going tomorrow. His use has been relatively spaced out with all the losing, and the bullpen is likely to be called on early tomorrow unless Lilly is his usual self already and very efficient. He's going to be on a pretty tight pitch count. Yea its not that big of deal because of Marmols use so far being limited. I wouldnt think Lilly would be on that tight of a pitch count really. Im pretty sure he threw 85 for Peoria, Id think he should be able to go 100 if hes throwing well. Like you said Lilly is usually pretty efficient, if he goes 6 tomorrow and we have the lead Id bet you money its Marshall in the 7th, Z in the 8th, then Marmol. I think Bob said something about trying to limit his pitch count to around 75 pitches, though I may have misheard it.
  10. Holy hell, that is a truly awful lineup. Tracy shouldn't be on the team, let alone batting clean-up.
  11. Ricketts should just can Hendry & Lou now, no need to wait the entire season.
  12. I"m sick of the [expletive] "Cajun Connection", just call up Flahrety and Castro
  13. I'm not sure which is worse, the bullpen or the offense. This is pathetic
  14. Nice job to work out of that, now for some runs
  15. Which is why I asked earlier why he's a minor leaguer working behind the plate. Is this a normal thing? I know Fred said someone took the day off and so they brought him in, but why put him behind the plate
  16. I could never feel sorry for Red Sox fans
  17. What a [expletive] idiot, and at this point I wouldn't even bunt with Zambrano
  18. That happens when you walk the pitcher
  19. 22, after throwing about 140 total in the past 5 days due to the Cardinal game
