  1. I love leadoff doubles by .230 hitters
  2. It's like waiting for a tree to talk. It's not going to happen. Its like wating for an intelligent post from you. Take it easy guys. I laughed at that joke though.

  4. 10 straight retired. We look good.
  5. Why? We're usually down, that's easy to deal with. Being up is unusual, and it makes us nervous. Valid...makes sense. But to me it's more like, "Wow, we're actually pretty good." I'm more relaxed this year and find myself looking at the big picture a lot more. Not me. I'm more fired up this year than ever. I am pissed even if we're only up by a run or two. I guess I just feel that this is the closest we're ever going to get to having a WS-caliber team, and this is our only chance for another 20 years or so. Why, we don't have any pending FA departures and we're still a young ballclub. If anything we'll be even better next season as our young talent develops and we add a pitcher or two. Cubs aren't very young. The best hitters (Lee, Rameriez, Soriano, etc.) are in their prime. The window is probably this year and maybe next. I'll take two championships in a row. better get your red sox gear then You can't win a championship if your 3 hitter hits around .270 the sox are damn good Yeah so if we don't beat good teams it equals championship I guess.
  6. How can they make fun of a sold out crowd? No, they were talking about how the Cubs only had about 400-500 people per game back in the day.

  8. Hawk and DJ are making fun of the Cubs attendance. Oh the irony.
  9. No way dude your asking for too much.
  10. That's why Crede is better than Aramis Only in the minds of the one White Sox fans. In reality, Crede isn't in the same class as ARam. I will say this again, the Cubs will win this game. Yes, we will win without Lee, Aramis, and Fukudome showing up.
  11. Go back out there and give up another homer Ted!
  12. Nice job, you guaranteed he won't go deep now
