Sacrifice Bunts are sometimes good ideas. If Luke Scott had bunted, there would be two people in scoring position with one out. He did not and they had to give up two outs just to get the runners over. You're right, and had we had runners on 1st and 2nd, no out, last night it probably would've been a good idea. But you don't sac bunt with a guy who has only 1 GIDP since he came here, is hitting .289, and doesn't strike out very often. I realize that, I did not say it was a good idea with Kendall, I was saying that sacrifice bunts are not all evil.
