I agree but I can see their point, everyone here are Cub fans so maybe that's where it comes from. I get that. There's a difference between the odds aren't in our favor and "next game is a guaranteed blowout loss.
I hate when hockey fans say that kind of thing. There's a huge difference between 3-1 and 1-1. The idea when you have home ice is to hold serve. We lost a game on home ice, now we have to get it back (having to win one of one on their ice as opposed to one out of three) and still win all our remaining home games. It's just a nice way to simplify a tough situation so fans can have happy thoughts and stuff. There really isn't much point in saying that winning 3 straight is harder than winning 3 of 5 because no [expletive].
I have the sound off so I thought Smith was trolling and was going to pop the ball out of his glove. Didn't help that Lake had no idea if it was caught or not.
At some point they'll lose one. It could be this one, but with two cups in 5 years it would still be hard to feel too much pain. But at the end of the day, winning championships is fun so keep doing that.
