  1. Edmonds homers to center field! None on, 1 out. 1-1!!
  2. Ramirez hits a hard grounder to Counsell at third base and is thrown out at first. None on, 1 out.
  3. lol WTF are you talking about? This is what happens when you sit around not pitching for extended amounts of time. I think the loss of command is just due to lack of work. I really would like to see him pitch every 5th day from here on out. He's going on 5 days rest right now. If you have him pitch on "normal" rest he'd next throw at NY on the 23rd, then at MIL on the 28th. Which means he'd next be available for Game 3, on 5 days rest, quite likely back in NY. I don't know if I'd like that personally. 7 days. 7 days what? He's on 6 days rest, that was a typo. Pitching every 5th day means 4 days rest. If he pitches every 5th day through the end of the inning he'll be available to pitch on 5 days rest in the playoffs. My bad, I thought they said he started last Thursday against St. Louis. And yea, that would be 6 days rest.
  4. Harden Ks Cameron. 5 Straight strike outs. 2.0 IP, 5 K, 0 H Now calm the hell down everyone. EDIT: On pace for 22 Ks.

  6. Oh no guys! 1.2 IP, 4 K, 0 H, 1 ER, 3 BB 4 Ks in a row for Harden!
  7. I did. He threw 38 pitches in the inning. His delivery and arm slot are fine, velocity about what it's been the past few starts. He had a rough start to the inning then K'd 2 guys with the bases loaded. He also just Kd another guy.
  8. How many times has Lee struck out looking like that this year?
  9. I can guarantee you that neither the no-hitter or the 18k's will happen today. Yea, I know... as long as it's a W I don't care.
  10. What is wrong with him? (Following on Gameday.) Nothing, he was having problems finding the zone, every pitcher has "one of those days". His arm slot and delivery are fine. Velocity at 90-93 which is a little low, but it was last time too.
  11. Ok Chicken Littles... No hitter, on pace for 18Ks... 1-0 Brewers, we haven't even had a chance to bat... God you guys are gonna die of a heart attack early in life.
  12. What happened? Had an easy out at first, but threw to second for zero reason.
  13. 2nd, when he had an easy out at 1st.
  14. 22 pitches for Harden... I don't think he's hurt... just having a bad outing, let him settle in and go at least 5.
  15. Why? Game is tied and we haven't been up to bat yet.
  16. Well, 12 pitches so far... he needs a DP badly.
  17. 93, happy now? I'd be more worried about his control than his velocity. Smart play by Rammy.
  18. 5-10 pounds is not a lot. CC gained 5-10 pounds getting over his loss to the Cubs on Tuesday LOL @ the CC comment. But when you're 5'10" 5-10 pounds actually is a lot in muscle.
  19. Wow Kane really did put on some weight... he's HUGE compared to last year. Toews gained a good 5-10 too... wow... that's good to see.
  20. Well, there is that series in Milwaukee right before that, so it's like you have two home openers. ;) Especially if the Brewers blow the playoffs this year. If they do make the playoffs I would disagree... and I'd hope a lot of Brewers fans would make it out there for a Cubs Brewers game early in the season, the Brewers could still be good next year if they can keep Sheets somehow.
  21. Oh my lord. Incredibly difficult? He works 3 hours a day 150 days a year talking about baseball. Give me a break. If you want to say it's fun to listen to him sound goofy and get all emotional, fine. Maybe that's your thing. But don't try and pretend his job is hard. EXACTLY! And most of the time when he does fill "air time" he's stumbling through one of his stories I can't understand anyways.
