I think we will see Guzman back up here in a starting role if Miller does not get the job done in his next 2 starts. Send him down, get his arm ready for the rotation and bring him back. Sounds good to me. Plus isn't Ohman out of options?

Does Pie being called up mean the Cubs think Soriano's injury is more than day to day? If Aram is not back soon one of them has to land on the DL.

the thing I'm worried about is he will come up and ride the bench, like murton is doing. With jones and floyd both hitting well, it could be a while for a spot to open up. I think a jones trade could remedy that, especially for a offensive SS at the break. I agree, sitting on the pine would not do him any good. Right now we need to figure out how to wins some games. Here is to Hill shutting down the Reds today!

This game was weird. First 4 innings i was ecstatic about the 2 out hitting, stolen bases and the decent pitching from Z. And then my world came tumbling down. Is it to early for Lou to give them the "Get your head out of your Asses speech"? I mean AS has been picked off 1st twice already this year. Did he get lessons from JJ? We need Hill to pitch another great game tomorrow. Bronson always gives us trouble.
