  1. [expletive] biased keith law
  2. You're a nut because you brought up a bunch of random Chicago crap for no reason and none of it changes anything about the points people made about the St. Louis stuff.
  3. Given the history of the NFL in StL (and the MASSIVE mistakes made re: any big stadia built here in the past 25 years) I agree. But let's not act like the Cubs are on some pedestal of sports professionalism and long-term planning. If it weren't for the GemStar Satellite Group, John Hughes (a Sox fan BTW: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Only_the_Lonely_%28film%29) and Harry, (going back to the first point) where would this franchise be? You might just have easily been fans of the Tampa Bay Cubs, or the Trib would've had to stick up Daley like Jerry did (for a POS pre-Camden Yards stadium somewhere) Or, most likely, the Chicago Brewers. who the [expletive] are you and what the absolute [expletive] are you even talking about you crazy person

  5. http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/chicago-bears And here's a calculator to play around with: http://overthecap.com/calculator/chicago-bears/ Thanks! Looks like they're in pretty decent shape, cap-wise.
  6. So what's the Bears payroll/cap situation for this off-season looking like?
  7. Keith Law has ranked the Cubs the #1 system in the minors. http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/12211903/chicago-cubs-no-1-farm-system-rankings-2015-mlb?ex_cid=InsiderTwitter_law_2015rankingall30farmsystems
  8. Cool tweets about an interview with Javy re: Maddon Man... I really [expletive] love this front office and Maddon.
  9. I'm excusing him for Hoyer and Manziel and mostly excusing him for Locker. Not entirely on Locker, though. That I'm on board with. Seems to have a pretty positive reputation around the league, though.
  10. He does have legit NFL talent, though, so you'd think there would have been some sign of improvement there. Locker's the more concerning one for sure, though. He has major warts and will never be more than an average NFL QB, but he's not untalented and he's a good kid and a hard worker, so you know he's been trying (unlike Manziel). NVM the edits IF you are really saying there should have been signs of improvement with Manziel, the kid who needed to be found by security cause he was too drunk to show up for Saturday practice, you have very unreal expectations for QB coaches.
  11. Well there's your problem. This is a good point. Good? No. Literally anyone can tell you? Yes. Not making fun of CTCF. It's just not a hard thing to realize Dew. Come on bro! It wasn't something I didn't realize prior to that, just something I hadn't pointed out and I was giving him credit for doing so. None of them showing much of any progression under Loggains is still a tiny bit worth pointing out, though, since both Locker and Manziel have some elements of NFL talent. I'm willing to give a smidge of credit to Locker, I suppose. Manziel, on the other hand, is by all reports a complete and utter personal train wreck and it's hard to imagine what Loggains could have done there. The stories from last week make it sound like he's flirting with Ryan Leaf levels of idiocy.
  12. Well there's your problem.
  13. I bet he is becoming an assistant coach. Makes sense considering the talk about Fox wanting to connect with alumni, and the somewhat iffy chance of Tillman making another team next year. Y'all got trolled hard:
  14. I feel like the 49ers had the worst case scenario of off-season hirings.
  15. Ahhhh that makes sense. Thanks.
  16. Wait, is this slash line even remotely correct? http://mlb.mlb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?pos=SS&sid=l132&t=p_pbp&pid=595879 I think he's combining regular season and playoffs, where that link is not. Is Rotoworld just off then?
  17. Wait, is this slash line even remotely correct? http://mlb.mlb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?pos=SS&sid=l132&t=p_pbp&pid=595879
  18. Did Belichick kinda just throw Brady under the bus?
  19. Well ok then pants off it is.
  20. So yea not the sexiest staff ever but certainly one where you're not running much (or any) risk of incompetence.
