The video shown on channel 7 was of Lou talking to a group of players on the field. For some reason, Yahoo has the meeting as behind "closed doors." on second glance, it had to have been out in the open... Sullivan also makes reference to it in his latest column:

Nope, he's being held back until March 10-12. They want to give him additional healing time (even though he says he's ready now).

I don't think they will be able to get out of this contract considering the allegations are about HGH from 2004. Link

Bruce Miles reports on Lou's quest to get the team focused on playing good baseball. First, Lou had a late talk with his coaches following yesterday's game (probably to map out a strategy), then he spoke to the players early this morning to voice his concerns. FYI, Paul Sullivan revealed on Chicago Tribune Live this evening that Mark Giangreco (ABC7 Chicago's lead sports guy) and his crew recorded Piniella's meeting--which didn't sit too well with Lou because there were a few expletives being used. :lol:

Kenny Williams is the same way. He's always telling people to "stay out of White Sox's business" yet he trashes former players and is constantly pointing fingers at the Cubs for "irresponsible spending." What a hypocrite. He's one of the reasons why Ozzie has such a long leash.

He probably just needs to continue throwing. For me, his case is different than Wade Miller because he hasn't had surgery and he's 5 years younger. I think he can regain his velocity relatively quicky. In the meantime, he needs to work on his control because that was the biggest issue in this first outing (Miller was able to hit his spots and get outs).

LOL, the only info I have is his interview on the news. He said he's not worried; he expects to get better with more ST starts. For the local folks, Chicago Tribune Live will be talking about his outing in about 10 minutes (following the Lance Briggs talk).

BTW, the radio feed is still open and these guys are still praising Rock Cherry. I wonder if he has a legit shot?
