  1. That should command a solid C-list prospect in trade. The Cubs could just keep him as their own C-list prospect and save on the paperwork.
  2. As in Uribe + Pitcher + Prospect, or Uribe + Pitching prospect? Surely, it's Uribe + Pitcher + Prospect. Tejada's slumping, but Uribe and a pitching prospect would mean teams were thinking he's the new Sammy Sosa.
  3. I'm pretty sure that Paul Depodesta is available.
  4. I'm getting a sense of deja vu about this thread. Hasn't the merits of Dunn over, well, everyone else been argued many times before? Why not discuss who you'd rather have between Crawford and Dunn? Why even keep bringing up Dunn actually? So, before I'm accused of contradicting myself, ignore that one sentence where I talked about Dunn and Crawford. Dunn's not goin' anywhere. And, most Reds fans that I've talked to, say they'd be glad to be rid of him. High OBP or not, I can see how a string of 0-3, BB and 0-4 lines interrupted by the occasional 1-4, HR would start to get old, even for Cub fans used to Matt Murton production. Especially, when you factor in Dunn's defense in the OF. Why not discuss Crawford vs. Lee or Lee against some other players that are supposedly available. The fact that Dunn is brought into every discussion(that's the perception, fair or not) on this board keeps many people away from here. People that could provide different point of views and open up new avenues of discussion. I'm just sayin'. But, I'd probably take Dunn only because he's younger than Lee.
  5. If he can't see the lack of fundamentals, then I REALLY don't want him in the dugout. Or in the front office. Or having ANYTHING to do with a baseball team.
  6. Guillen would be banned from NSBB pretty quickly with that kind of mouth. That's on the condition that he could type, of course.
  7. It was nice of you to quote him, though. That way, the cusswords will still be up there even if he edits it.
  8. Hey, yeah....let's make fun of the guy that's carrying the Cubs offense right now.
  9. Hey, that should be in Transactions.
