I can't agree to that.. :) I think you have ample support here though that says the people agree he's exempt. I haven't gotten a response back from Juan yet. Do you want to wait to make it final until I get the clarification? juan picks in four picks, so he nixes it, we can just go back to my pick. everyone cool with that? I don't see a problem with it... Anyone else?

I'm seriously willing to go out on a limb to say Choo has an exemption left. Prospects will be cap-exempt for three years. A year is a season in which a player has 50 or more plate appearances, 5 pitching starts, or 10 total appearances. Since 2 of his years do not meet the exemption loss requirements, he has to have one left. It's been asked before and that was the ruling, so I'll throw my ass out there on this one if I'm wrong.

Hmm. I'm not sure if he does or not. The 17 at bats were after he lost rookie eligibility, so that year might count against him. We probably need Juan to verify that one. This has come up before and it was decided that in between seasons like those that do not qualify to lose an exemption year do not count against exemptions, so yes, I believe Choo is exempt for one more year.
