  2. ESPN ranked every NBA player 1-500. Top 5 in order are Lebron, Durant, Howard, Paul, Rose. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8429392/2012-nba-player-rankings-no-1

  4. We discussed this a week or two ago. Consensus was that the player was about to salute, and the Marine didn't like that. At all.

  6. I'm calling BS on Parker having watched Moneyball 20 times.
  7. Ok, I just meant in comparison to Cutler. Romo doesn't throw many int's at this point. Had a 31/10 TD/INT ratio last year. Jay's best is 7 more TD's than picks. Tony's been above that 4 times in his career. Tony used to throw a lot of picks, but since '09 he's really stopped doing that. Jay did great in that department last year, but he also threw much less than previously, and now almost has his INT total from last year already. Jay's career high comp% is 63.6. Tony has only failed to reach that number twice.
  8. I feel like Cutler has a better chance of being awesome than Romo. Romo is consistent, and safe. Cutler is high risk, high reward.
  9. Who's the better QB? Cutler or Romo? http://espn.go.com/chicago/hot/?id=8427166
  10. My fantasy team is called Ed Hochuli's Biceps. I've lost the first 3 games despite having, what I and other league members though, was a very good draft. I'm blaming naming my team after a ref. I figure with the lockout over, I'm due for a winning streak.
  11. Heh, not really relevant now with the lockout over, but still... http://www.replacementgoogle.com/

  13. But in the positive column for the Bears, the Dallas O-line is as bad or worse than the Bears, and the Bears D-line has shown they can take advantage of that.
  14. Don't hold your breath. The NFL is willing to stand pat. They feel that the short term pain is worth the long term gain. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/peter_king/09/25/nfl-referee-negotiations/index.html?sct=nfl_t2_a3
  15. Zach Zaidman posted this earlier, and though I hate W-L for QBs.....
  16. I wouldn't have guessed this. Bears are 7-2 on MNF under Lovie.
  17. Why do the replacement refs hate the economy? Ref's blown call could penalize state's retail, hospitality businesses
  18. Is it a linkable image/vid? I'd like to see it. It was posted in a different forum. It had an SB Nation logo on it. Was trying to find it, between doing actual real work, lol. EDIT: Found it. http://cdn3.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1210517/refss.gif Yeah, ok that's a lot clearer than the other replays that have been online. That's clearly a pick then.
  19. The Jay Cutler Foundation is doing a raffle for tickets to Bears @ Titans. $2/ticket min 5 tickets. http://celebritiesforcharity.org/raffle/Chicago-Bears-Invade-Music-City-Raffle/
  20. Yeah, I've looked at those, but something tells me we haven't faced the toughest defenses we'll see this season.
  21. Man, you really do excuse everything Seahawks. I mean, I've spent the morning arguing this was at least an somewhat defensible call, but the Tate PI was blatant and obvious. Please re-read what you have quoted. I am clearly stating Tate should have been called for PI. I am merely pointing out something that is overlooked in that argument about defensive PI that no one mentions. In no way am I excusing the Seahawks. I am just tired of both bad calls being lumped together like it made it double bad Not one person is arguing that the officials made one bad call all night long and it was not whistling Tate. The officials made bad PI calls all night long. Your "two wrongs make a right" argument is irrelevant.
