    I'm the first guy to endorse and enjoy goonery, but this team's success has largely been built on playing its own game. It's fine if we get outhit 3-to-1 every night. There are guys who can step up and be dicks if needed. And those guys are smart about it unlike Carcillo. Except for Shaw of course, he's still a bad-penalty dispenser.

    Holy hell, Hedger is speculating on Twitter that Carcillo (who will probably be medically cleared today) may sub in for Vermette tonight. I am no fan of Vermette, but I'd rather have Cristobal Huet subbed into the lineup than Carcillo.
