That explains why they brought Wood into his spot in the top of the 8th inning. Do you think any team would take Neifi off of our hands? That seems to be the only way to get Cedano regular at-bats.

Could someone explain the double switch Dusty made in the top of the 8th for me? Why would you double switch and put the pitcher in the spot that was coming up 4th that inning? Am I missing something here, or is it just Dusty that screwed up again?

Thanks for the welcoming and the help with the emoticons. I'm sure this topic was spoken to earlier in the year, but what was the consensus around here about why Dusty never tried playing Hairston in left when we were struggling so bad at that spot early in the season? Other than Dusty was asleep in the dugout and never thought of that idea.

There was meant to be a whole lot of sarcasm in my post about Dusty making good moves to impress the Dodgers. I am fully aware that he isn't capable of making good moves? I just wasn't sure which emotion was the sarcasm one. I'm still new here.

How does Barrett move from the 4 spot a couple of days ago to the 8 spot today? How is it possible for Barrett to ever hit behind Hollandsworth and Neifi? And where is Cedano? A lot of good that 2 for 4 did him yesterday. The more and more I watch these lineups, the less of a clue I realize Dusty has. I was at least hoping he would make a couple of quality moves this series so that they Dodgers would be impressed and take him with them when they leave.

Can Greg Maddux be the pitching coach, manager and go out and throw every 5th day? It would be an upgrade at two spots and he seems to still be able to get major league hitters out.

Is Baker contractually obligated to continue to play Neifi instead of Cedano? And to continue to play Patterson?
