Obviously if he ends up a franchise QB we are all thrilled with the trade. Pace is staking his Bears career to this move so I guess how much you like the move depends on how much you trust Pace. If he thinks Trubisky can be Drew Brees, then he absolutely has to get him. If the Browns were willing to give up real assets to move to #2 to get Trubisky, then wouldn't they just draft him #1 overall? A franchise QB is worth way more than a All-Pro type DE.

No, but it wasn't about the Niners, it was about the Browns. Honestly, if that's true and depodesta wanted him that bad, that'd make me feel better about the trade what the horsefeathers has depodesta ever done to command that kind of respect? dude sucked in the sport he was supposed to be good at. i'm more of the mind if the cleveland browns really want something you have your eye on you don't go to the mattresses with them.

Do you really move up to draft a QB you don't visit with or workout? If you're willing to give up an arm and a leg you don't need to slow roll your interest all that much. They also didn't call Trubisky before the pick came in per Trubisky. /desperately hoping they trade Trubisky
