    murton's approach really sucks right now

    I'm a huge Sammy fan, and he's really exceeded what I figured he would hit at this point. I was hoping he would retire because I figured his best days were behind him and that he would only embarrass himself this year, but he's doing quite well, and I'm happy for him. Hopefully he can keep it up.

    I'm really not a basketball fan at all, and I rarely watch the NBA or anything, but I did watched the last couple minutes of today's game, and even to me it was obvious the Heat looked terrible. Turning over the ball, missing easy shots, etc. They were doing it all.

    His P/PA isn't great either. I guess we'll see how it all levels out with more regular playing time. He's been jumping on the first pitch a lot, and it's been working (.364 average on the 1st pitch) but yeah, he's been a little too aggressive in some at-bats. Overall, though, I don't think it's too much to worry about.

    I thought NJ was going to complete the comeback, but Ottawa was just able to hang on. I think that's going to end up being a great series.

    I don't mind DeRosa playing over Theriot as much as somebody like Izturis playing over him. Time to put The Riot at SS.
