David Hernandez was allowed to walk two guys in a row for the Reds and the last one forced in a run to face Yelich with the bases loaded and one out.

I know people think it's nuts but if the Cubs and Brewers look like they currently look, those two teams are not out of it. They definitely aren’t. I think the reds more than the Pirates. The Cubs might just keep on sucking the rest of the year but chances are this is pretty much rock bottom and they will play at least some degree better at some point soon. Have to remember they have played 50 games in 52 days. Maybe it’s excuse making but we’ve repeatedly seen this core of Cubs teams struggle towards the end of these stretches, even the 2016 team. They also seem to hit a wall before the all star break every season. I’m trying here Or the one month of really good baseball wasn’t actually the norm?
