  1. He will mess up the sacrafice. Just watch.
  2. As a Cub fan, I would IBB him every time up.
  3. We can't even homer in this stupid bandbox. I hate Carlos Lee.
  4. Or not. At least freaking try up there you dork.
  5. Maybe the Cubs can score negative runs for Hill tonight. Maybe Murton can tip the ball out of the park on a fly ball.
  6. I don't want to hear any more stats on how guys are batting in Iowa. They are complete nonsense. Are they hitting off a tee down there?
  7. Nice at bat Ronny. One of our host of AAAA phenoms.
  8. 18 pitches by Hill. Good improvement Rich.
  9. I do because the defense has been horrible in center lately.
  10. Lou just said minimum 2 weeks, most likely a month.
  11. Lou just said Soriano out minimum two weeks most likely a month. Crapola.
  12. I don't think I have seen worse umpiring than on this home stand.
  13. I think I will get some flack, but it might be time to move Kendall up in the order a little bit.
  14. She's hot, why are you complaining? Because if she gets any more unearned exposure she'll have to change her name to Paris. Meh. I'd have sex with her. I'd hit it 300 times.
  15. He's day to day. Like I said before, the Cubs survived without DLee and Aramis for stretches this year and I think they are both more important to the offense than Sori. This wouldn't be as big of a deal if the pitchers hadn't surrendered 7 runs tonight. Hell, the Cubs have barely been giving up 4 runs/game, on average, as a staff. Bad night. Yeah, but it's still one game. For every 7-run night, there's a 1-run night; we've had those too. That's the power of averages. The Cubs have one of the best pitching staffs in the NL; Coming into this game, the Cubs were tied for 2nd best in the NL with a 3.87 team ERA (also best in the NLC). By contrast, the Brewers staff ERA is 4.23. It's just a bad night by Cubs pitchers. It's not like they often allow 7 ERs. Since the last game of the St. Louis series, both the starters and bullpen have been pretty bad.
  16. Dusty Baker is scratching his head in the ESPN studio.
  17. It will be nice to see Pie back if Soriano gets DL'd. CF defense has been awful.
  18. He just called the strikeout on DeRosa on the warmups.
  19. Maybe he can understand the strike zone now that he was jacked in the face. It was like the 90's Brave strike zone tonight.
  20. Seriously, when was the last time this team homered? Was it Lee's solo shot?
  21. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Things not looking good in Cubland right now. I know Soriano has been pretty mediocre lately but this team can't afford to lose any power hitters.
  22. Great 0-2 pitch. What a freaking loser he is.
